Requirements

1. Systematically examine all the branch’s financial transactions to ensure the accuracy
2. Locate and identify discrepancies, if any
3. Check the branch’s adherence to operational Procedures and administrative policies
4. Visit client’s place and verify balances in client loans, DCB using Octopus
5. Verify initial KYC documents and loan application on need basis
6. Ensure proper update of documents with clients, receipts, loan repayment card etc.
7. Check the inventory list and depreciation schedule
8. Prepare audit reports and ensure the branch’s compliance of audit recommendations
9. Identify frauds and forgeries wherever & whenever doubt arises
10. Check branch compliance with accounting and internal control protocol by
    • Confirming authorization for cash disbursement and office expenses.
    • Scrutinizing accounts classification.
    • Scrutinizing cash handling procedures.
    • Confirming a separation of duties such as prohibits opportunities for fraud.
    • Confirming the safekeeping of cash and files.
    • Assessing the adequacy of staff volume to the branch’s current level of business.

Requirements

1. Ensure accurate booking of expenditure according to availability of budget in Tally ERP 9 or other accounting software
2. Prepare journal entries, complete general ledger operations and draw up monthly
   financial reports
3. Preparation of monthly financial statements, closings and analysis of accounts as
   requested Assist with year-end closings and payroll administration
4. Administer receivable and payable accounts
5. Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee inconsistencies and check differences
6. Account/bank reconciliations
7. Review and process expense reports
8. Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process, implementing and
   maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
9. Consolidation and reporting to senior management
10. Perform financial control functions
11. Review and approve all reconciliation and schedules such as bank statements, schedule of accrued charges, prepayments etc.

Requirements

1. Processing payment requests after verifying supporting documents as per policy
2. Ensure accurate booking of expenditure according to availability of budget
3. Make Forex payments after completing relevant provisions of law
4. Make provision of expenditure on monthly basis
5. Issue receipts for funds received and account it in the book of accounts
6. Liaison with banks to ensure process of timely payment
7. Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statement
8. Prepare schedule for audit and provide support to auditor
9. Update funds-receipt tracker
10. Ensure timely closing of the book of accounts
11. Ensure compliance with standard accounting and audit requirements
12. Support in preparation of annual budget
13. Prepare periodic MIS reports for CEO / Board
14. Submit monthly funds requirement statement and ensure timely availability of funds
15. Ensure deduction of TDS and deposit to bank as per the provisions of Income Tax Act
16. Submit information for TDS return preparation
17. Issue TDS certificate and calculate TDS on staff salaries

5. Good working attitude, communicative skills, especially with the low-income societies
6. Receptive to training, supervision and tendency to work in a team

Requirements

1. Conduct market research and survey activities
2. Participate in the development of new microfinance products and services
3. Orient prospective clients about the Organization, its products and services
4. Receive loan applications and perform credit investigation on loan applicants
5. Organize all loan application documents submitted by the applicant and prepare credit
   files
6. Conduct inspection and/or assessment of trustworthiness of the applicant
7. Prepare legal documents, files of approved loans
8. Facilitate loan release and assist in client re-briefing during the loan discharge
9. Recommend loan accounts for restructuring Para-legal and legal action, if any
10. Regular monitoring of clients by conducting meetings
11. Attend training activities and also assist in training the newly hired MFI staff
